  • What is the CPCIE?

    The Canadian Program for Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, aka CPCIE, is a unique initiative by the Hill and Levene Schools of Business, with support from Employment and Social Development Canada. It offers free online training in creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship through a course called Imagineur.

  • Who can take the Imagineur course?

    The Imagineur course is made for Canadian high school and university students but is open to all Canadians, grade 10 and up. It's especially focused on empowering women and Indigenous people who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs.

  • Does it cost anything to join the Imagineur course?

    Nope, it's totally free! The Imagineur course is 100% funded by the Government of Canada's Skills for Success Program.

  • What will I learn in the Imagineur course?

    Imagineur includes 8 modules you can take online, on your own time, at your own pace. They cover topics like creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, giving you real skills and knowledge to up your business know-how.

  • How long does each module take?

    Each module is flexible and has 4 short videos. The time you need to finish a module depends on how fast you learn.

  • What topics are in Imagineur?

    There are 8 modules in Imagineur, covering everything from basic entrepreneurship to advanced concepts in innovation and business creativity.

  • Can I use my smart phone or tablet for the course?

    Yes, you can! Imagineur offered completely online and is set up so you can use any device, even your phone.

  • What’s the passing grade for quizzes?

    To pass a quiz, you need at least 80%.

  • Can I retake a quiz if I don’t pass?

    Absolutely! You can keep retaking quizzes until you get that passing 80% or more.

  • What languages is Imagineur offered in?

    The modules are offered in English and French with subtitles so you can choose the language you’re most comfortable learning in.

  • What do I get after finishing the course?

    Even though there are no big exams, you’ll receive a digital badge to add to your resume and share on social media.
